This program is crafted for high-performing Year 7 and 8 students who are showing strong aptitude in Maths or English and would like to continue to excel. The program not only strengthens school performance but also prepares students for competitive opportunities such as selective school entrance exams and scholarship tests.
Our goal is to build elite study habits, subject foundation, and soft‑skills early, so students enter VCE more confident, more capable, and more competitive.
Hello future students and families, my name is Hendrick and I’m excited to have the opportunity to support you through your learning journey.
A strong foundation and consistent practice in Years 7 & 8 have helped me stand out among my peers, and achieved outstanding results year after year leading to a 99.70 ATAR. Now, I’ve graduated from the Bachelor of Biomedicine with First-Class Honours from the University of Melbourne, and am currently an incoming Doctor of Medicine student at UniMelb. Outside of academia, I have also achieved a Licentiate in Music, Australia (LMusA) for Piano Performance at the age of 17, been a volunteer at the Royal Melbourne Hospital for two years and have held multiple leadership positions during high school and university.
Now, with the knowledge and skills I have acquired, I hope to share with you, the future generation of students. With more than 3 years of formal tutoring experience, I have developed a methodical and engaging teaching style that aims to engender key critical thinking and problem-solving skills in my students. Success is bred from hard work and indeed, most of my previous students have seen significant improvements of 10-40% grade increases on assessments after working with me for several months.
In addition, I highly value the enrichment of skills outside of the classroom such as initiative, personal responsibility and leadership that are overlooked by many. Thus, these are always incorporated into my classes where I ensure my students are given the opportunity to develop into independent and active learners.
